Only concerns is if you're parked in a bad neighborhood and someone razorblades the skin. Not to mention how much enviromental stress the material can handle. Yet again, it's still a concept, and we may never fully get the idea in about 5-10 years or less.

This car is amazing. It's a shame that it's only a concept and never will hit production. It throws so many new ides out on the table it's ridiculous. Though it seems like it wasn't made with a convertable top so.. rain would suck.

If you think about it. The car has a network of tubing that helps shape the car in it's various forms. And what that network of tubing is like is a grid with crumple zones and reinforced framing. Like a superlegera sports car. so I think it would be relatively safe for the "public". I mean they released the mazda miata didn't they. That has the same netowrk of tubes and frame to keep you safer as well. So I believe the geniuses at BMW took safety into account.
